Mattar paneer 

I was actually thinking of to preaper mattar paneer from many days, i mean from a week.;)😝😝  So today i decided to prepare it. Paneer can be preaperd in many other different types of recipes, but this one is my favourite. Generally in mattar paneer maximum of people use fresh green peas. But today i used dried green peas. It also gives a different flavour to it. Mattar paneer is one kind of delicious vegetarian recipe. We can prepare it for our vegetarian guests 🏡 A simple recipe of paneer and mattar which is prepared with the combination of different indian spices.🍲

Ingredients

Dried Mattar 250gm

Paneer 100gm

Garam masala powder 1 1/2 teaspn

Cumin seeds 1teaspn

Coriander powder 1teaspn

Turmeric powder 1teaspn

Red chill powder 1/2 teaspn

Onion paste 1/2cup

Ginger garlic paste 2teaspn

Tomato puree 1cup

Salt for taste 

Water as required 

Oil 1tblspn

Method

Soaked the dried peas for Over night. Next day wash it and boiled it in a pressure cooker. In a pan heat oil and saute the paneer pieces, keep aside and in the same pan again heat oil (vegetable oil or mustard) and add cumin seeds, as soon as it crack add the onion paste until it become golden brown. Now add the tomato puree and saute for a min. Add turmeric,Coriander,red chilli powder and salt,saute it. Now add the ginger garlic paste saute for another min and add boiled peas,mixed it properly. Cooked it for 15mins, meanwhile mashed the peas, so that the texture of the curry become thick. Add water as required. At last add the paneer and garam masala powder. Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves.🍲😋🙏 perfect to served with Naan or roti 😋👌👌👌👌👌
